SALES MANAGER – Industrial Control Panels

Our client is a leader in Motor Control Panels manufacturing.  They have an unparalleled reputation in our industry in not only meeting but exceeding the UL-508A standards for industrial control panels.  They build, produce, and distribute ICPs for car wash chains across the United States and Canada and have increased their customer base year after year because of our superior product, service and state of the art technology.  We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual who will develop complete customer satisfaction and meet / exceed target sales volume for MCC products for a defined customer base.

The Role
 

  • Define the market potential for Sergeant Sudz products within the growing Industrial Motor Control Panel segment
  • Work with local management to align national understanding of the potential
  • Identify company products/solutions available to penetrate the market and gain market share
  • Become the local solutions expert as it relates to Industrial Control Panel technologies and applicable product solutions
  • Lead the overall local program strategy for all suppliers in effort to earn 100% of the business/programs.
  • Initiate regular facility visits with management personnel to communicate strategic initiatives and develop customer specific sales material, teach, support, and coach.
  • Serve as an active resource for our efforts with the key account(s) nationally. 
  • Responsible for the local market support of our customers and equipment manufacturers (relationship management); generate project lists; customer mapping
  • Local market screening (competitor, producer, technology/product, market size, segment, price); maintenance of standard reporting
  • Participate in new project and product strategy
  • Support current accounts and agreements and ensure customer satisfaction

Educational requirements 
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred
  • Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical 
  • Focus on sales/marketing / strategic product development

Experience
 

  • Electrical and Control Panel experience 
  • Manufacturing Process Knowledge 
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in selling technical electrical solutions
  • Understanding of UL 508-698A
