Job Responsibilities:

Generate requirements for all electronic systems design
Develop verification plans and procedure to ensure that the electronic control unit/ECU hardware and basic SW designs meet requirements
Perform development and verification testing of the ECU electrical and basic SW design
Interface with ECU electrical design team and basic SW team to address/resolve issues
Support ECU and subsystem validation testing
Support investigation and resolution of product issues found during development and validation testing
Support ECU design compliance assessment based on OEM requirements for particular applications
Support DMEA and system safety activities

Requirement Qualifications:

BSEE degree
Experience with hardware and software design
Experience in embedded control system design
Experience with microprocessor-based applications
Electrical system testing experience
Electronics lab skills using electronic test equipment and modification of electronic hardware
Technical problem solving skills with attention to detail
Strong technical documentation and verbal communication skills
Familiar with common computer applications – word, excel, powerpoint, databases, etc.
