Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Location: Lincoln, RI or Raynham, MA (service territory within approximately 50 miles)
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems for a variety of customers throughout the Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts markets.  The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience performing commercial service work, and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Service rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and related HVAC equipment.
  • Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment condition, repair recommendations, and project status.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety policies, industry regulations, and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous commercial HVAC service experience required.
  • EPA Certification required.
  • Must possess one of the following:
    • Rhode Island Journeyman License
    • Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License
    • Sheet Metal License
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working with commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
